Mr & Mrs ‘Know-it-All’

Realised how I intentionally named it this way so that you will not know the gender of the subject matter?

Have you encountered them before?

One moment you are talking, pouring and sharing your thoughts.

The next moment, Mr & Mrs ‘Know-it-All’ cuts into your conversation and proceeds to force upon you THEIR thoughts, THEIR experiences and THEIR advice (that’s what they think it is), in their bossiest ‘I-know-it-all’ and I’ve-been-through-it-all’ tone!

It is so irritating, so frustrating and so nerve-wrecking, not to mention so damn rude!

Well, I may not know EVERYTHING, I may not have experienced EVERYTHING, I may not have tried EVERYTHING...

BUT I know when to just shut up and plain listen!

Sometimes, people just wanna air, wanna pour, wanna listening ear. Not wanna hear what you think is YOUR advice.

(BTW, if you are as quick-witted as I am, isn't the Singa Lion a she?)


Anyway, moving on, I watched Heroes for the 1st time on Channel 5 last night.

15 minutes into the show, I’m convinced the show’s as lost as Desperate Housewives and as desperate as Lost.
