On Boxing Day

Nino gave me this toy dog from Toys 'R' Us. You pull at its tail and it retracts back, making the dog looks like it's 'shivering'.

And my dog was perfectly fine until I removed it from the box and ... ... ...

The one on the right is Cat's dog, and mine's the one on the left.

I don't know what happened to my dog's tail. It went from its original wrinkled-spring to this. Erected or limp, you decide.

Anyhow, now I've got a dog to ride my toy bike.

Isn't it cute? Ha Ha Ha! (I've got to unleash the kid in me sometimes.)

Next, can you make out what's the black shadow in the picture?

It's Jon's dog, Fifi, napping on my lap. We were on our way to dinner in Simon's car.

She just had her haircut and was feeling tired after a 3-hour wait at the pet shop. Poor girl, and now she has to sit through dinner with us.

We had dinner at Defu Lane, Seafood Paradise. Their crabs are simply one of the best!

Allow me to introduce you our dishes, one by one.

First served, Drunken Live Prawns in Herbal Soup. Everyone loved this dish, the soup was really sweet and tasty, I could easily down 3 bowls of this.

Bacon Cheese Rolls, sink your teeth in and feel the cheese ooze.

Scallops with Broccoli. Who doesn't love scallops?

Fried Crispy Chicken with Garlic.

Claypot Brinjal - I have nothing to talk on this dish because my chopsticks didn't touch anything in it. This is VEGETABLE, which I don't eat.

Hot Plate Black Pepper Venison.

And the one dish that everyone's waiting for - Butter Cream Crabs with Coconut Crumbs.

My greatest sin of the night but simply heavenly!

And they go best with the fried buns, cracky on the outside, soft and moist on the inside.

Just me and Mike, all lovey dovey.

I'm so loving because he allowed me to buy my Timberland boots earlier in the day! I finally got them!

And they made me model them in the restaurant.

Here's a closer shot I took of the boots.

They're waterproof and anti-slip, with wool thermal lining, the perfect boots for my Hokkaido trip!

Sam's one happy girl!

Now, that's my Boxing Day.
